Centrally located in Richmond, the Richmond Park Hotel is close to Richmond Bridge and on the banks of the famous River Thames.

Within close proximity of the hotel are many Historic Houses and Parks.

Richmond Park: This 2,500 acre park was enclosed in 1637 by King Charles I as a favoured hunting ground. Large herds of red and fallow deer wander free in the magnificent woodland which was designated a National Nature Reserve in 2000. The Royal Ballet School is based within the park.

Hampton Court Palace: Experience a magical history tour back through 500 years of history. Discover the intrigue of life at court as costume guided tours, sound guides and family trails bring the palace to life.

Royal Botanic Gardens & Kew Palace: From the elegant Palm House to the modern Princess of Wales Conservatory, the exotic Pagoda and the Temperate House, the gardens contain the finest plant collection in the world.

London Wetland Centre: A unique attraction offering a spectacular wetland landscape of lagoons, lakes, ponds and pools. A third of the reserve is protected for the hundreds of species of wild bird that stop off to roost, nest or feed during their seasonal migratory journey.

Syon Park House: The London home of the Duke of Northumberland, Syon's magnificent 18th century interior was designed by Robert Adam. The Parkland was landscaped by Capability Brown and the Great Conservatory provided the architectural inspiration for Crystal Palace.

Central London with all its attractions is but forty minutes tube ride from the nearby Richmond Station, or twenty minutes by car.
